I lay my head down my pillow
I shut my eyes
But I can't sleep
I think
I'm sleepless

All kind of thoughts
Haunt me inside
Some are sweet
Others just bitter
I'm sleepless

I turn on the light
But outside it's still night
I turn on the TV
But everything's reran
I'm sleepless

I walk across the room
I get panicked
I get happy
Or just confused
I'm sleepless

I turn on the computer
No one to chat with
Just a message in the mailbox
No reply button
I'm sleepless

I open the door
No one's there
Just the silence of the dark
I open the window
It's too cold
I'm sleepless

I look at the clock
It's already late
Or just too early
I welcome the morning
I'm sleepless
