I walk along a lonely path
In the old groaning forest
The rain giving it a bath
As the wind whistles a chorus

I’m free
In the dark
Between the trees
Listening to the lark

I think about my life
The way it’s been hell
With nothing but strife
At the sound of a bell

I could never find the time
To get away from that place
To listen to the dropp of a dime
In my own little space

I listen to the trees
As they sing
I fell free
In the tree bows swing

The leaves fall
All around me
The leaves fall
Where everyone can see

This forest is my mind
Branches Twisting tangling
You’re bound to find
Dangling

This is my prison cell
In time
Where there is no bell
Only the dropping dime

It’s lonely
Walking through the forest
If only
There was someone to sing the winds chorus

I walk a broken path
In a broken mind
That hath
I find

Been fading
In the dark
The forest fading
With the chorus and the lark


Say goodbye to sanity
