Após 20 anos faz uma cirurgia que restaura parte da visão, mas é afetada por um retardo de percepção, o que significa que vê algo mas só tem consciência disto depois de algumas horas. Uma noite ela acorda e, olhando através da porta entreaberta, vê uma figura sombria descendo as escadas. Convencida de que sua vizinha foi assassinada, ela vai até a polícia. Inicialmente John Hallstrom (Aidan Quinn), o detetive encarregado do caso, não lhe dá crédito, pois como não enxerga bem acha que ela se confundiu. Porém outras duas mortes seguem o mesmo padrão. Emma tem sua vida ameaçada, assim Hallstrom tem que descobrir o motivo destes assassinatos antes que outras mortes aconteçam. Blink Blink - Num Piscar de Olhos
