I Blauss sono un duo psichedelico formato da Ilaria (voce, synth) e Mattia (corde, percussioni). Il progetto nasce a Roma nel 2015 con una serie di jam session e ricerche sonore. Dopo alcuni live, fra cui la partecipazione al Coff Festival di Berlino, si chiudono in studio per lavorare al loro album di debutto “Sudden Step” (2016), totalmente autoprodotto. Gli 8 brani dell’album sono un caleidoscopio di generi musicali: si va da brani con voce dominante accompagnata da chitarra a suite psichedeliche, passando per momenti shoegaze/noise con ritmiche più serrate.


Blauss is a psychedelic duo that consists of Ilaria (vocals, synth) and Mattia (guitar, bass, drums). The project started in Rome in 2015 with a series of jam sessions and musical experimentations. After several live acts they focused on their debut album “Sudden Step” (2016), completely self-produced. The album is made up of 8 tracks forming a kaleidoscope of musical genres – from prevailing vocals accompanied by subtle guitars to psychedelic suites, passing through shoegaze/noisy moments with tight rhythmic sections.
