Blaine McCanless - The Forgotten Child

Ive been rejected
By both heaven and hell,
Ive got no where to go
And no soul to sell,
The devil is scared of me
And god wont let me in,
Ive done my share of good deeds
And my share of sins.
Ive walked a million miles
And been out past the moon,
I poured water on the sun
And listened to Jesus sing the blues,
Ive walked to the end of time
And then I walked back,
I wrote Stairway to Heaven
And held the world on my back,
I gave all the stars names
And gave the god of thunder his hammer,
Ive watched nations rise
And then fall in their blunders.
I'm part of everything
The wind, sun and rain,
I painted the Mona Lisa
But let Da Vinci have the fame,
I still walk the streets
And will never die in vain,
I'm the forgotten child
Known by many names.
