Blaine McCanless - Storm
3 Views • Oct 27, 2014
Description
Have you seen this life its such a mess
All the words thrown through the door
Lay by my heart on this dirty floor
Dont ever crawl back into the storm.
Lost in the radio, stuck on the moon
I can see the shadows hand loom
It destroys the hours, keeps me from harm
Its dirty old face, from which its eyes were torn
Dont ever crawl back into the storm.
My eyelids grow heavy, my mind grows weak
Blood flows onto the cold concrete
The shipwreck was abandoned, no survivors were found
Then the cry of the wind lets out a lonsome howl,
The storm is on the rise cutting me away
My face the rain pounds, washing memories away
The cuts from yesterday still linger in the lore
Dont ever crawl back into the storm.
