‘Black Panther’ Hits One Billion

On its fourth Friday in theaters, “Black Panther” became the 33rd film in box office history to gross $1 billion worldwide. The Marvel film hit that mark on it's opening day in China. Black Panther made this much in the same amount of time it took other Marvel films “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Captain America: Civil War." However, the majority of Black Panther's earnings came from the US, while over 60% of the other two were from overseas.
