Berlin producer Riccardo Paffetti of Black Loops brings in his funk and soul influences, with Italian vinyl junkie Vittorio Rinaldi aka Innocent Soul putting his raw and heavy touch on another collaboration following their projects on Toy Tonics. Adorned with looped guitar riffs and a stomping bassline, the title track hollers a peak-time sound through filtered soul vocals and warped disco vibrancy. ‘GHETTO U’ holds a more direct house sound, keeping the high energy up through guitar loops and deep bassline drops. There are few records around that can maintain sky-high levels of liveliness, this production is certainly one.
