Turn's out
Even when there's
Clouds of doubt
Hangin' heavy on
Your heart
Tryin' hard to begin
A new start
Was or should I say is
A journey in itself
Self-motivation
Self-love
Inspiration
Dedication and determination
Kept my life afloat
Caught a couple of bruises
Here and there
Physical pain
Harsh words spoke
Only made me stronger
And a littler wiser
'Cause I knew it wouldn't
Take much longer
For my light to shine
For peace to become mine
