BJP stages protest outside Delhi Assembly over excise policy

BJP workers staged a protest against the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government over the Delhi excise policy case. Holding placards and party flags, the protestors demanded to sack Manish Sisodia. 

In November 2021, the Delhi government rolled out its new liquor policy with much fanfare. Cut to nine months later, and the national capital is ready to revert to the old regime after a series of controversies over Excise Policy 2021-22 that have landed the deputy chief minister and several public servants under the CBI’s lens.
