BJP set for India election landslide

Early results in India's marathon election point to a landslide win for the opposition BJP party.
Conversely they suggest the Congress Party-led United Progressive Alliance poised for the worst defeat in its history.

"The full results are yet to come but the trends are worrying and disappointing for us. We didn't expect such a result but we'll accept whatever decision the people have taken."
Narendra Modi looks set to become India's next prime minister with a very comfortable parliamentary majority.
He's promising to unblock stalled investments in power, road and rail projects to revive the nation's economic growth.
It's fallen to a decade-low of under five per cent.
