BJP: BJP Massive Protest Over BBMP

BJP's first massive protest in Bangalore after BSY taking up the charge as party head in Karnataka. BJP is going ahead with its protest against the enhancement of property tax and it will also take up the city's garbage disposal issue. Hundreds of BJP party workers gathered on Kasturba Road, outside Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, to oppose the “unscientific hike” in property tax rates.Several leaders, including state president B.S. Yeddyurappa, city unit president Subba Narasimha, MP P.C. Mohan, city MLAs R. Ashok, Suresh Kumar and C.N. Ashwath Narayan, among others, will be addressing the protesters. This may result in traffic jams around those areas.
