BJP allies oppose land bill

CHENNAI: Land Acquisition Bill: There is more ally trouble for BJP on the land acquisition bill. It's allies in Tamil Nadu, DMDK and PMK, have also expressed dissatisfaction over the bill. PMK announced a protest against the bill on March 3.

DMK chief M Karunanidhi, in a statement, warned the Centre that it would face serious consequences if it did not relent on the issue.
