BIZZARE SUICIDAL PILOT Adam Dylan Leon, born in Turkey as Yavuz Berke, 31-year-old flight student took the single-engine Cessna plane from Thunder Bay Airport, a flight training school in Ontario eventually landed the aircraft on a highway in the Midwestern state of Missouri, when it started to run out of fuel, police said, while US F16 fighter jets followed the plane for 7 hours .A state trooper who arrested the pilot said Leon told police he wanted to commit suicide but did not have the courage to carry it out, so instead tried to get shot down by US jets.
"His idea was to fly the aircraft across the border into the US where he would be shot down," said trooper Justin Watson.
