Bitcoin And Ethereum Continue Downward

After what many called a “relief rally” on Thursday, apex cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ethereum have continued their previous downward trends. Analysts and investors are split on when these tokens will truly bottom out, with everyone taking to social media to share their opinions. Michael Van De Poppe believes Bitcoin is repeating a pattern from September’s correction period. Van De Poppe also noted that Ethereum seems to be carrying the entire market. He tweeted, “Pretty much copy/paste of the September bottoming here.” For his part, Justin Bennett said that Bitcoin has to get back to $53 thousand on a daily basis to even turn bullish again. He also said that Bitcoin has a history of “filling long lower wicks.” Benjamin Cowen agrees, tweeting, “$ETH looks strong af.” Finally, Altcoin Sherpa said he is still bullish on Bitcoin even if it drops as low as $43 thousand. At press time, Bitcoin sat just over $47 thousand, well over $2 thousand off its 24-hour high.
