Deep in the forests of Dandeli, the silence was broken by a sudden flash of grey. I watched, breathless, as this Ashy Drongo—usually an insect hunter—showed its darker, predatory side. In a split second, a Spectacled Flowerpecker became part of the unforgiving circle of life.
