One of the cuddliest of the animals in the Zoo is April the Koala. April was born at the Zoo and is one its star's! Koala's can sleep a lot! Up to 22 hrs a day. This is due to their diet of eucalyptus leaves which don't contain very much energy. Eucalyptus leaves do give Koala's most of their water so they very rarely come down to the ground to drink.
