Lindsay would dance upon the surface of New York
For all the world to watch as he walked Harlem's streets
Gave the unions all they wanted and almost
Birthed a bankrupt city in the process of
Small trade offs in the quest to be a President.
It was the school tearcher's pension fund ultimately
That saved The City.
