Description
Washed away by one of India’s worst floods ever.
After exceptionally heavy monsoon rains, the water broke the dams of the Kosi river.
Over 3 Million people were affected, and thousands lost their lives. Those that survived, lost everything else— land, home, family.
Then they were hit hard by famine and disease;
The situation was catastrophic, help was needed urgently.
