Biff McGuire - I Won't Give Up

Who I am, or have become
It all seems such a mystery
I rise and fall just like the sun
With questions locked inside of me

Past the peak, my highest point
Now slowly sliding down the scale
Heels dug in and hanging on
If I let go I know I’ve failed

I won’t give up, I never do
‘Cause in the end it doesn’t pay
Although I often feel I should
Pack up my bags and run away

Perseverance is the key
To life and all of its ups and downs
Good pays back and work’s rewarded
Creating smiles, erasing frowns.
