In the heart of Ortigia, the historic center of Syracuse, two steps from Piazza Archimede and the Duomo, the literary café stands beside the Regina Chamber, the ancient seat of the queen queen's governing body, created in 1361 by Costanza d ' Aragon. The building is accessed through the splendid portal beside our entrance, surmounted by the representation of St. Michael the Archangel, armed with a sword in the right and with the scales weighing souls in the form of flames on the left, aiming to trample the dragon at warning of justice.
