This spiritual suffering
Has dragged me through thistles
My skin has been pierced
On sharpened thorns
Weariness and hurt
have passed me by
and now I lie
in the numbing realm of apathy
Tears fell from my eyes
But couldn't be felt
They faded in the midst
Of my stoical soul
I cannot understand
Heaven's ruse
What is the meaning
Of all this?
