When in Bhopal, do pick up some beautifully handcrafted batuas that have become a Bhopali speciality. What started as a necessity to carry spices required to make a paan, later became a style statement. These handmade Bhopali batuas are especially known for their detailed zardozi, bead, patch or, the less blingy, appliqué work.
