Beyond The Northern Horizon

Beyond the Northern Horizon is the true story of Erick Connell an E.M.T. III living in Seattle who worked for an ambulance company answering 911 calls in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area. He found a job as a medic and deck hand first on a crab boat off the coast of Kamchatka’s Sea of Okhotsk what was then the U.S.S.R. Later as the medic aboard a 300 ft. trawler fishing the Bering Sea. This is the story of his amazing five year adventure and grueling experiences treating the crews who work the world’s most hazardous professions on the most dangerous seas on Earth.
