Dark alleys, empty hallways, and midnight cab rides are the most dangerous places for women. These days, even restaurants, bars, schools, and offices have become unsafe venues for women too. Even in broad daylight, in crowded places, women are at risk.

Last year, the Philippine Commission on Women reported 23,865 cases of violence against women. That figure does not include what could be an even more staggering amount of unreported cases.
