Beverley Warren - Ocean

Waves are crashing somersaulting to shore,
The voice of the ocean, warning to those who do dare,
Seagulls soaring uncontrollable flight,
Tumbling and blown into unbearable heights,
You can hear the Gulls cries in search of land,
The foaming of the surf rushing over the sand,
The mood of the ocean the death defying swells,
A place of destruction a place you could call hell,
I close my eyes listening to the rhythm it sends,
The calming of the water will the storm end,
Sitting on my log my thoughts float away,
Like the sand in a hour glass,
Her mood is here to stay,
The tide will come and go,
Like people in our lives,
Memorised by Mother nature,
The ocean will never lie.
