Beth Ann - Another Stab In The Back

I would of never of believed
That you would stab me in the back
Like you just did

Secretly I knew you would
Take the knife and add another stab wound
I have plenty of stab wounds already
From all the people who have stabbed me in the back

But somehow I thought you were better than that
But I guess your not that much better
You just like all the other back stabbers

But it's ok
The wounds will someday heal
But the scars that you made
By stabbing me in the back
Will never fade away

So remember my back stabbing friend
We will never be like we were
I'll smile in your face like you did
And talk crap about you behind your back
Just like you did to me

I have just one question for you
Are your new friends worth
All the bad things you had to say about me
To make them like you

I bet they won't be worth it
and I'm sure there not your friends
Cause I heard them talking bad about you
When you weren't around them

I always stood up for you
When I heard someone say something bad about you
I bet your new friends won't

I hope when you look back
I hope you see that I was your friend
And that they aren't

I hope the grass is so blue on your side
Cause now that I don't have to take your side
My grass is so much greener
