A former soldier, Henry Brogan is a hitman with a solid reputation as a sniper.
He works for a mysterious government agency, the DIA.
After a contract in Liège in Belgium, he decides to retire in the State of Georgia.
He also discovers that the target of this last contract was not what he thought.
Henry's employers want to make it go away.
Clay Harris, director of GEMINI, then sends after him the only man capable of killing Henry: his clone, younger than thirty years old and brought up by Clay himself.
