Bernard Snyder - 'Problems'

These problems of late,
seem to be getting the best of me,
my mind is so exhausted
I'm not sure it'll catch up with the rest of me,
at times I feel like
I'm buried in quick-sand,
even my bad days seem
like extended weekends,
when I try to be rational,
some people seem to get mad at me,
so I have to get lost sometimes
just to maintain my sanity,
my disappearing helps for a moment
but then reality kicks in,
I know when I wake up in the morning
I'm faced with problems again.
