Bernard Shaw - Warming Waters.
5 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
It was the time of my baptising.
Things of beauty I did see,
As my spirit was slowly rising.
I saw my past as if in dream,
Some terrible things I had done,
All flowed out in the stream,
Of unholy passions on the run.
I raised my eyes up to the light,
Hope filling my longing breast.
No more the sadness of my plight,
For with Holy Water I am blest,
Warming waters washing over me,
Soak all the badness away.
Let me with the righteous be,
Until with the Lord I stay.
Bernard Shaw
