Description
This once-popular casual Irish-themed restaurant chain invited people who watched this ad in 1990 to "escape from the everyday" by enjoying their food, drink, and atmosphere. However, no amount of magic or luck could allow its corporate parent to evade the brutal present-day economic conditions. Following filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, all company-owned Bennigans and Steak and Ale eateries closed for business on 29 July 2008. At least one franchise-operated Bennigans remains open in Tampa. None remain in Tallahassee or Houston, according to current knowledge.
