There’s a question I ask myself
Each and every night
It doesn’t cost any wealth
Or matter if I’m right
It seems so unfair to wait
And ask, if it was destiny or fate

Destiny, who brought me to you
Fate, that keeps with you my love
How can I see clear through
When the sky is filled with doves
They’re all trying to escape
From their Destiny or Fate

I was born
To give you my love
Never was I torn
About, if I could rise above
I can never keep straight
If it was destiny or fate

Now can’t you see, Destiny
Just what your doing to me
You won my love for you
Never since, have I been blue
For you, I will never be late
Or care, if it was Destiny or fate
