People live each moment
In a deep foggy haze
They can’t pay their rent
To stay indoors

Taking a single breath
Life seems to drain
They’re so close to death
In so much pain

People kill without remorse
Not a second thought, tear
Lives taken through force
No love left, just fear

Lovers break your heart
No real reason why
They couldn’t stand to be apart
Now they see each other and fly
Away
