When I look at you you know what I see?
I see a frightened girl staring back at me
The look of an over reluctant past
For a chance is all I have to ask

A chance to mend your heart to new again
This feeling of an inevitable and inconsequential mistake will never end
till you learn to trust and love again

Risk help us learn how to move on
If not how would we know where we’ve gone
This feeling intensively growing stronger
I cant hold it in much longer

I just want to scream and shout
To you just to let it out
Are you blind
Can you not see
It is me that’s here to set you free

Im standing right in front of you acknowledging every word that comes from your mouth
Not knowing what its about
Transparent your intentions are
They’re as clear as mud
Hell you might even find me to be a dud

A quick fuse with no fireworks at the end
But at least for now you’re still my friend
