Description

As stunning as an April faun
................stepping out of the misty incoming dawn,
On the lip of a wishing well
................reposes a budding woman, Danielle.

The beauty of her name befits her well.
No other name can cast that spell.

................Amelia - too sweet even for a bee
................Victoria - old country royalty
................Maria - a nice song from the west side
................Margarita - too salty for any to abide
................Alberta - a clipper, a ship, a gale
................Gilda - a remnant of the ages and mail
................Delta - that’s a plane
................Hilda - a Germanic claim
................Priscilla - a pill with a whisper
................Rosetta - isn’t that a stone deciphered?

NO! –––– Danielle

................It’s she who stands in sun’s eye,
................Pastelled with the mist of the dawn,
................Framed beside the country well.

.............................Danielle, Danielle

................I fancy that beautiful name
................And she’s prettier than any
........................................I have ever seen,
................The twin of one as pretty as she.
