Description

What I’ve felt for gated freedoms meet amassed intuition
and inhibition,

inability.

It’s a noble steed, an entrance to life:

to feel.

But pain riddles its existence
as rose bushes produces thorns.
And likely raspberries:
red nectar.

‘So you’ve known distance likewise? ’
(Ah, a veteran hospitality you’ve dedicated…)

I too crawl the same caverns to an epidemic light
I have knowledge of reaching it,
but the pilgrims’ progress becomes hazy beyond salvation.

What to do

oh

what to do,

with one’s surplus of apathy

and love.
