Bella Hadid Discusses Her Breakup From TheWeeknd

Bella Hadid has a sobering Valentine’s Day message: Love hurts.

The 20-year-old opens up about her public breakup from TheWeeknd to Teen Vogue, saying “it was my first breakup – or second, next to the horse – and so public.”

The model dated the singer for six months in 2016, and according to The New York Post’s Page Six, the horse she’s referring to was one she had to sell to concentrate on her Lyme disease.

Now, it’s well known that The Weeknd has moved on and is dating Selena Gomez. Of course, Bella is fully aware of this and won’t remain quiet about that either.

She tells Teen Vogue, “As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily… It’ll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through.”
