Bella Belle - Spilled Milk

Don't cry over spilled milk, they always said to me.
But it's not as easy as i thought it would be.
What's the definition of the milk that you spill?
Big or small?
Please explain this to me.
What exactly can you consider spilled milk to be?

Can I cry if I fail?
Can I cry if I don't belong here?
Can I cry if I decide I've had enough?
Is that OK?
Or is it all just spilled millk?

Can I cry if I lose someone I love?
Can I cry if I decide I'm not enough?
Can I cry if I fly too high and burn inside the sun?
Is that alright?
