Gregory Maqoma’s father had a football club in Soweto and wanted his son to become a player. Instead he became a famous dancer and teacher. Maqoma, with his Vuyani dance is one of the main acts in the World Cup opening ceremony. In Switzerland for the Steps dance festival, he spoke to swissinfo. (Raffaella Rossello, swissinfo.ch)
