Description
Dussehra, an annual Hindu festival in India, marks the victory of the Lord Rama over the demon Ravana at the end of nine days of dance and music.
Festival-goers build effigies of the demon and destroy them with fire and fireworks. While there are variations in how the festival is celebrated, the triumph of good over evil unites them all.
