Bedouin protest turns violent
Description
The demonstrations turn violent.
While the majority of Israel's Arab citizens live in cities and small towns, there are some 200,000 Bedouins who live in the southern desert in so-called "unrecognized" villages without running water, electricity or sanitation.
But now a draft law, set for a final vote before the end of the year would slash the number of those villages and relocate some 40,000 Bedouins into townships.
Israel says it will help a long neglected segment of the population.
But it's an offer Bedouins would like to refuse.
Police say 10 officers were wounded in the clashes with 11 people arrested.
