Beating the booze in Mongolia

Widespread alcoholism led Mongolia's President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj to launch a campaign a few years ago, calling on his people to cut back on their drinking in the interest of national security.

At one point, the problem was so bad that more than half the population was drinking more than they should. But Mongolia is now on the verge of an economic boom - and it looks like things are changing.
