Bear Steals Some Bird Seed

Occurred on May 5, 2019 / Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA

Info from Licensor: "I noticed the patio spotlight popped on, which happens a lot, so I went to the screen porch with intent to scare off a raccoon because they come every night to steal from the bird feeder. Once I got to the screen door, This big bear was staring right at me. I froze and started walking backwards to go back inside. I must say, this was the scariest thing I have ever encountered. It was my first time ever seeing a bear, so needless to say, I didn’t sleep at all Sunday night. What an adrenaline rush! The bear ran off and thankfully our outside camera picked up the event. Not sure if anyone would have believed me otherwise."
