Description

Uttar Pradesh and Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Rinku Singh has been withdrawn from the India A squad for the second unofficial Test against Sri Lanka A - from May 31 - as the BCCI handed him a three-month suspension for partaking in an unauthorised T20 competition in Abu Dhabi. The ban is set to begin from June 1. An official statement from the board said that Rinku did not seek prior permission for his participation, which is a violation of BCCI rules and regulations.
