Bayer Roundup Case
Description
The U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments in Bayer's bid to limit Roundup cancer lawsuits, centered on whether federal pesticide labeling law overrides state warning requirements. Bayer faces ~65,000 similar lawsuits and reached a $7.25B proposed settlement in February pending final approval. A Missouri appeals court upheld a $1.25M verdict for a plaintiff who developed non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The court is expected to rule by end of June.
