If I was a raven, black as the night
I'd sit at your window
all evil to fight

I'd stay until dawn
and with sun's early light
I'd leave you alone
but come back every night

If I was a lion, strong and proud
I'd scare your demons away just by roaring out loud
and maybe, if that is what you want, I can be your pet
stay by your side and sleep in your bed

Still I'm afraid that a wish isn't enough
so I'll stay right here and dream about you,
my love
