Watch this video of huge hail raining down on a house’s backyard.
Caitlin Watson, a waitress from Springfield, Missouri, was at home when suddenly she heard thunder and saw huge hail falling from the sky.
It was a very powerful hail storm that hit the Springfield area, damaging thousands of homes, cars, businesses and more.
Caitlin was afraid it would damage her backyard and belongings too, but luckily she did not suffer any loss.
There was an emergency alert issued warning of “baseball-size hail.”
The warning stated: “Take shelter in a sturdy building, away from windows. People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.”
The video was posted online where locals quickly commented: "So many vehicles got damaged from this today."
