All Time Life High

If I sit here long enough
I will think of something to write
like anything that may bite,
bark, howl, scream, or slam.
But I can't write about any
of this, because I am on
an all time life high.

I could write about pain, strain,
cars, boats and even the plane
that couldn't fly.
But none of that is my
objective as I move forward
thinking only positive thoughts
on my all time life high.

No matter what our struggles in life
we can clear away all the strife
and make our lives happy and gay
while we sit dreamily by the bay
with our fishing poles in hand
while the fish is not our plan
as we relish in our all time life high.

Happiness, gaity, fun, romping
skipping, singing, smiling,
picnics, touch football, and all
the fun things in life can be
ours if only we can see
that we can get by
in our all time life high.
