Barbara Haskell - Destiny
0 Views • Jun 14, 2014
Description
body is filled with so much pain,
so much time lost, laying down,
my cries the only sound.
Please, give me a break!
Somebody tell me there's been a mistake!
I wasn't nearly through,
so much more I wanted to do!
For an awesome lark,
I'd take my grandkids to a water park.
I want to take them on mountain hikes
and to the beach, riding bikes.
I want to take them to camp and fish,
is it just going to remain a wish?
I want to teach them things I wish I'd been taught
and laugh with them-alot!
I long for this and more to be,
are just pain and tears my destiny?
