Barbara Fuller - Journey
A soothing verse to read;
Perhaps my time here will have been
With purpose and good deed.
The road less traveled is very long,
I was never told of this.
Choices made were good and bad,
Through time comes peacefulness.
With ruptured soul I carry on, and
Make no apology. For in the end
The harm, tainted only upon me.
What of my lot, you may ask.
Well, I am left to wonder why,
I finished this journey alone.
You see, the reality as it were,
Can turn a heart to stone.
